Rev. Norman Goos, Retired Senior Pastor & Seminary Professor, Librarian - Atlantic County Historical Society, Official Historian - Atlantic County, NJ
President - Col. Richard Somers Chapter - Sons of the American Revolution
Why did the Brits see the "Nest of Rebel Pirates" at the Neck as a big enough deal to mobilize 8,000 troops just to burn 13 buildings and several of their own ships in the process?  Come and hear the detailed history of this event, and as a bonus, learn about the reasons and locations for the two or three moving and alternating inlets at Little Egg Harbor.  Free copy of Atlantic County Hist. Society Yearbook article documenting this presentation for all participants.
